Established on 16 Oct 1997, Auto Cast Sdn. Bhd. is a manufacturing company, Which emphasizes on engineering foundry production. The company is a breed from Sucess Foundry & Engineering. Customers are likely among those in industrial sectors , namely agricultural, tractor, machining, car, sparepart, waterpump, plumbing and furniture. Auto Cast Sdn. Bhd. delivers products such as steel parts, such as water pump impeller, pump casing, 7 way manifold, angle plate, ductile flanges and brake hub. With profits around RM 400,000 per annum and total turnover estimated 3.5 million.Their product will be exported to overseas, including London, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Italy, etc. Auto Cast Sdn. Bhd. wish to create more work opportunities for the locals, practicing high technology by sending staffs to more advanced countries for training. To achieve ISO 9001 standard. HISTORY Partnership of 3 back in 1973, Success Machinery & Foundry are established with just a mere RM12,000.00 in the bank account. Using coke furnace as the production tool, Success operates with total 7 workers. Each month, Success only manages to earn 10 - 20 k. Workers are growing from 7 to 11 people in 1980's, and from 1990's there are total 15 people in Success. Economic crisis hit Asia Pacific in 1997/1998, bringing a turndown to most sectors, including manufacturing companies. Huge amount of small to medium industries are having difficulties in maintaining their business. Thus there are lot's of companies have been closed down. Success have been looking deep to the matter and finding a new way to survived in the situation. One of the partners, suggests to change production method from coke furnace to induction furnace. Since induction furnace method is new at that time, not many agree and confident on the idea. The unreachable view forces Fan to leave Success, and established Auto Cast Sdn. Bhd. With loan from a bank, Fan uses induction furnace to produce varieties of steel casting parts. Production has increased, and markets are gradually accepting induction furnace as a new method to produce more quality casting. Now, Auto Cast is part of the small to medium industry with total 50 workers.
